It has been way too long since I have posted anything and heaven knows that my old website has needed a real facelift!!!!
Though times are challenging right now with the coronavirus we can still find beauty all around us. Life is about what we take the time to see! Beauty can look like my daughter taking care of the dishes when I am trying so hard to get my drawing done, my husband making endless salads (gotta love the celery ;), my son helping his uncle put together a piece of furniture, and Ben mowing the yard. Life is truly a blessing...don't forget to capture these beautiful images in your heart <3

Here is the actual website address for the project:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1436658477/skeletons-in-tutus?ref=home_location I am getting ready to hit the launch button on the kickstarter website. I HAVE been approved!
Please check out my Dressing Room Project page. I am so excited about this new journey! It is in and now we wait for the final go ahead...Can't wait :)
Doesn't just drive you crazy when every possible obstacle happens to jump in front of you when your on a roll?
Well, all but one hurdle is left in finally bringing my artwork to the internet. I am so excited and so nervous at the same time...art is such a personal thing that you don't want to offend others, but hope to inspire them. My wish is to pay this forward and use my art to help others. Fingers crossed and oh if you could throw in a few toes too ;) OK! Here it is!
I am going to be posting on Kickstarter postcards, t-shirts, lithographs and original artwork of the skeletons that will be up for sale in the next couple of days. This will be the first time I am offering up lithographs of my artwork :) My goal with this project is to pay it forward . I will post here when the site is up - I can't wait... Well, well, well...I am slowly getting closer to my goal of providing my art in lithograph form to the public AND giving 25% of the proceeds to The Dressing Room Project.
My hope is to announce the date in the next two weeks. I am so excited - I could (well maybe I am:) jump up and down! Stay tuned and please read up on the Dressing Room Project at: http://www.thedressingroomproject.org/ Follow your instincts - you never know if your ideas will work out unless you try them. -- Lulu Guinness, Good Housekeeping, June 2003 |
